What is UnifiedPOS?
UnifiedPOS is a POS peripheral interface standard
independent of language and operating system.
The purpose of UnifiedPOS is to reduce the time required to
integrate POS peripherals through the use of standards
for common functionality.
UnifiedPOS was initiated by a consortium of retailers and
vendors and is led by the National Retail Federation.
