Systems Management Proposal
Create a new Technical Committee whose charter it is to set the direction for Systems Management within ARTS
Scope: whole store, full solution stack, complete life cycle
Initial recommendations:
- Review existing Systems and Network management standards from outside of ARTS for applicability to the Retail space
- Ensure that any of those standards applied to this space are consistent with existing IT Systems Management Standards
– Retail devices should become an integral part of IT Systems Management - not a unique / separate silo
- Where appropriate, form alliances with outside standards organizations to extend their existing standards to support the unique needs of Retail
- Be the single ambassador between ARTS and all of its committees and outside Systems Management Standards groups
