ARTS conformance testing for ARTS-XML schemas and the Data Model confirm that vendor applications have accurately implemented our standards. Choosing ARTS Conformant applications can significantly reduce your integration costs. Check the list of conformant vendors and applications or look for the ARTS Conformance logo when selecting new applications. To be judged ARTS-XML Conformant, a company must pass at least 30% of the total use cases associated with any schema. To be judged Data Model Conformant, physical or logical databases must match 60% of the ARTS Data Model relationships and elements in the selected business subjects. Only those companies that have successfully passed ARTS Conformance Testing appear in the list of conformant vendors and applications. The tables listing conformant companies show the application and version tested, the use cases and business functions selected as well as basic contact information for the company. Prospective clients can — and should — request the full report from the vendor. First, download the ARTS-XML Conformance application form. This form will give you information about the current testing fees and returning it will give you access to the testing software (testing fees are due within one year of initial application or at time of passing the test). Each publicly available schema is composed of many use cases, so vendors may select the specific use cases for which they wish to be tested. It is not necessary to be tested for the total schema, but the ARTS Board of Directors has determined that to pass ARTS-XML Conformance a company must successfully pass at least 30% of the total use cases. If you wish to be tested on a schema that is not a currently-available ARTS-XML schema, you may submit it to ARTS for conversion to the ARTS-XML standards and testing. ARTS-XML Conformant companies are awarded the right to use the ARTS-XML logo and the company name and the passing software application are posted to our website. Again, start by downloading the Data Model Conformance application form and submit with testing fees. Actual testing is accomplished by comparing the vendor's physical or logical databases to the ARTS near physical model through a series of automated reports and an onsite (or web-based, if necessary) audit by ARTS consultants. The model contains 602 tables supporting 10 business functions and approximately 60 business subjects. Applicants may select which specific business subjects for which they wish to be tested. To be judged Data Model Conformant the physical databases must match 60% of the ARTS Data Model relationships and elements. Copyright © 1995-2008 NRF. See Disclaimers |
