ARTS in Europe
 |
ARTS will be in stand C45 (hall 6) at
EuroShop, 23-27
February in Düsseldorf, Germany thanks to Bizerba. A member of the Fresh
management work team, Bizerba is also an active supporter of
ARTS' SOA and Video
Analytics work. ARTS Executive Director Richard Mader will be
available to discuss how your company can benefit from ARTS
standards. |
 |
This year
Retail Solutions moves to London and ARTS will be doing a
standards pavilion at the show. This is a great opportunity
for you to work with ARTS to show your support of standards
and have a presence on the floor of this longstanding show.
See
www.retailsolutions2008.com for more information about
the show itself. If you have an interest in the ARTS
standards pavilion, contact Richard Mader at
MaderR@nrf.com.

ARTS Testimonials
Do you have a story
to share on how your company is using SOA or ARTS standards? We are
seeking presentations for our Summit conference this October in
Amsterdam and we also we invite members to contribute stories to the
monthly ARTS column in StORES Magazine. Email Richard Mader
at
MaderR@nrf.com or Karen Shunk at
ShunkK@nrf.com with a brief outline.
Standard Data
Formats for Mobile Transactions?
ARTS is exploring
the development of standard data formats for mobile transactions -
everything from orders through payments. Phones are beginning to
play a larger role in retailing; without standards, consumers will
be frustrated, further delaying business expansion in this new
channel. ARTS wants to hear your comments and ideas. Send an
email to Richard Mader at
MaderR@nrf.com to share your opinion.
This is a free service
to keep you up-to-date on the latest new programs and publications
available to you through ARTS.
It is our hope that you
will find ARTS Update a valuable resource and will share it with
your friends and colleagues. Please send an email to
arts@nrf.com if
you wish to unsubscribe.
