help! We are currently seeking
volunteers for the following committees and Work Teams:

The Committee to develop the
Standard RFP for Price Optimization is ready to schedule
their first conference call and is looking for volunteers.

The Work Team to develop schemas
to integrate the Warehouse Management RFP is due to meet for
the first time during the IXRetail Committee meeting August
15-17 in Washington DC and is actively recruiting members who
are experts in this business area. Click

The Work Team developing the
Schedules schema which will import Staff Scheduling
information into a Time & Attendance application is looking for
volunteers familiar with Workforce Management applications from
both retail and vendor companies.
This is your opportunity to contribute
to the development of ARTS standards while making sure your
company's requirements are met.

Technology Summit - London, 6 October 2005
The 3rd Annual ARTS-NRF Retail
Technology Summit is scheduled to take place October 6 at the
Radisson SAS Portman in London. The theme of this year's
summit is Implementing Global Standards in Retail Technology.

US-Japan Retail IT Leadership Forum 2005 - Tokyo, 8 November 2005
ARTS and NRF are pleased to announce
that they will be sponsoring this new standards event in partnership
with the Japan Retailers Association, Microsoft and others.
This event will take place 8 November 2005 in Tokyo at the Keio

in the VICS CPFR Survey
ARTS and NRF have established a closer
relationship with VICS (Voluntary InterIndustry Commerce Standards
Organization) and as a result, they have invited our members to
participate in their CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and
Replenishment) survey. Click

WAMPOS Meeting 9 August during UnifiedPOS Meetings
The first meeting of the Web Access
Model Work Team of UnifiedPOS (WAMPOS) will take place August 9 2005
at Microsoft HQ in Redmond WA. The principal task of this Work
Team is to standardize the connection of Point of Service

The Final Draft
Version of the Inventory Schema is now available for review on
the ARTS webboard for member review.
