ARTS and the NRF CIO Council Release Workforce Management RFP
Workforce Management (WFM) is the second in a series of Standard Requests for Proposal (RFPs) designed to assist retailers in selecting the "right" software applications for their specific business practices. Retailers purchase Workforce Management applications to ensure that they provide customers with the right quantity of staff, with the right skills, at the right time. The Workforce Management RFP includes Labor Forecasting and Scheduling, Time and Attendance, and Task Management functions and will be followed soon by new IXRetail schemas to integrate the selected application. The RFP for Loss Prevention is currently in development. Contact arts@nrf.com  if you would like to participate or donate used RFPs.

RFPs are available free of charge to ARTS and NRF members in good standing.

Major accomplishments of the meetings include: final review of schemas to support the WFM RFP, design of major enhancements to the Customer schema, significant progress in the development of Price v2 and Item Schemas and updates to the Data Model to ensure that it includes all the data elements in the IXRetail schemas.
